Purcell Tower – in the town center, stands to the glory of hill town. It was build in 1936 similar to the Big Ben which judges hourly chime.
All Saints’ Church – An red-brick Anglican Church at Ziwaka street is an impressive church. Sunday Worship Service commence all year around.
Governor’s House (now running as Resort and Museum) is a worthy place to discover the royalty of British Rule. Many accessories, rooms are displaying stunningly.
National Kandawgyi Botanical Garden – the most beautiful natural park throughout the country. Outside of Pyin Oo Lwin is welcoming for those who find the inspired nature. About 2.4 km from Anisakan village, near the town. Splendid 3-step Dat Taw Gyaink waterfalls retains as a natural site to relax. With its green atmosphere, high-speed water falling down to ground is a place for photograph. Pwe Kauk waterfall remains as a pleasant and active recreation. Small weir offering splash pool, well-range stalls display the goods, handmade souvenirs and fruits wine for visitors. Town’s most revered Pagoda, Aung Htu Kan Tha Pagoda campus contains beautiful hill views of Shan State. Many precious jewellery are dressing on Buddha statue. A tourists destination for pilgrims.
The awesome place to find out is Peik Chin Myaung natural Cave which attaches numerous Buddhist images. It locates in Myaing Gyi village, 8 km from Pyin Oo Lwin. It takes 20 minutes to walk at the end of the cave. All paths are safe to explore. Remember less oxygen near the end. After the cave, Peik Chin Myaung waterfall is good to watch.
